The New York Elite is a united effort to provide top coaching and competition to help develop and train the area's best players.  The New York Elite program is the first cooperative effort between local clubs and administrators to do what is best for the elite player in the Metro-NY area.  There are many teams providing opportunities for players to play  - but there existed no program dedicated to enhancing the mental, emotional and skill development of the gifted player.  Like AP academics or specialized art/music instruction, the New York Elite (NYE) program brings together top players, coaches and administrators in our area and provide the professional training and education needed to help them reach their potential.

All the participating members of the NY Elite program have the same goal - to develop New York's best and brightest prospects to their maximum potential and to provide them with coaches who have been where these players want to go.  The NY Elite coaching staff is the only one in the Metro NY area where every coach has DI collegiate experience.  This experience gives NY Elite team members the best in cross training techniques and high level athletic training principles by the athlete's who have been there.

The NEW YORK ELITE program will field teams ages 7th through 12th grade.  The season will run from March through July.  For junior high ages we focus on development of the athlete's potential while playing a competitive schedule.

For the college recruiting age (9th through 12th grades) we play a national schedule focusing on maximum exposure to college coaches by attending tournaments such as Blue Chip College Showcases, Boo Williams, Nike Summer Slam in NJ, AAU Nationals, Nike Summer Showcase in Chicago, US Jr. Nationals and many others.  The NY Elite program gets quality placement in the college recruiting tournaments because of the long time relationships of the coaching staff with the top event directors.

The NY Elite program receives many invites to private events for national caliber teams as well - these special unadvertised events are for team/player development as well as college recruiting.  Since all of our coaches are former DI athlete's they have contacts and personal relationships with many college coaches that help them advocate on behalf of our NY Elite team members.

We encourage players to play year round and participate on other teams/clubs when not competing for their New York Elite team.

Players in the New York Elite program will benefit from:

• Professional coaching with high school and collegiate coaching and DI playing experience
• Professional administration with years of experience as youth program directors and college education in sports management.
• Specialized evaluations by a top scouting service (Vincent Cannizzaro's National  Scouting Report)
• College Recruiting Consulting service free for all team members and their parents

• Being prepared to not only get to the next level but to succeed at all levels.
